Acceptable Use Policy
TocToc AI's AI-generated content (AIGC) rules - the six prohibited content categories, how violations are handled, how to report content and how we moderate.
Last updated
TocToc AI turns a single photo into an AI-generated toc toc dance video. Because the videos show real faces and real pets, we hold every upload and every result to the standards below. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses toctocai.org, whether or not they have an account.
Content standards
Every photo you upload and every video you generate must:
- show only you, someone who has clearly agreed to be in the video, or a pet you own or have permission to feature;
- be lawful where you live and where you share it;
- respect other people's dignity, privacy, likeness, copyright and trademarks; and
- stay a playful dance video, not a tool to deceive, sexualise, harm or humiliate anyone.
Prohibited categories
The following six categories are prohibited. We remove them, and they lead to the enforcement actions described below.
1. Sexual and NSFW content
- Nudity, sexual acts, sexual or fetish poses, or sexually suggestive content of any kind.
- Uploading photos of people in underwear, lingerie or swimwear, or edited photos, in order to get sexualised results.
- "Undressing" or otherwise sexualising a real person's image.
2. Violence and gore
- Graphic injury, blood, mutilation, death or torture.
- Content that threatens, celebrates or incites violence, terrorism or self-harm.
- Cruelty to animals, including pets shown being hurt or in distress.
3. Hate speech and harassment
- Content that attacks, demeans, dehumanises or mocks people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or serious illness.
- Hate symbols, extremist imagery or propaganda.
- Videos made to bully, shame or humiliate a specific real person.
4. Child safety (CSAM and child-unsafe content)
- Any sexual, sexualised, suggestive or exploitative depiction of a person under 18. This includes AI-generated, edited or "fictional" depictions.
- Content that grooms, endangers or exploits children.
- Uploading a photo of a minor unless you are their parent or legal guardian and the video is wholesome.
Zero tolerance: suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is blocked, preserved as required by law, reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the competent authorities, and the account is permanently banned.
5. Deepfakes and impersonation
- Using a real person's face without their consent.
- Depicting public figures, politicians, celebrities, journalists or any private individual in a way that could mislead people into thinking the video is real or endorsed by them.
- Content made to defraud, defame, blackmail, or to spread election or political misinformation.
- Removing or hiding the fact that a video is AI-generated when sharing it in a context where viewers could be misled.
6. Copyright and trademark infringement
- Photos you did not take and do not have permission to use.
- Copyrighted characters from films, TV, anime, games or comics, other people's artwork, or costumes and mascots that belong to a brand.
- Logos, brand names or trade dress used to suggest a sponsorship or endorsement that does not exist.
Other misuse
- Attempting to bypass or test our safety filters, for example by cropping, editing, overlaying or obscuring prohibited content.
- Automated access, scraping, reselling or redistributing the service without our written permission.
- Using TocToc AI for spam, malware, fraud or any other illegal activity.
Violation handling
We look at the severity, intent and history of each case and take one or more of the following actions:
| Severity | Examples | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Minor, first time | A borderline photo, a copyrighted logo in the background | Content removed, warning email |
| Serious | Impersonating a real person, hateful or violent content, repeated minor violations | Content removed, generation blocked, account suspended pending review |
| Severe | CSAM or child-unsafe content, sexual deepfakes, credible threats | Content removed, permanent ban, report to law enforcement and relevant organisations |
Additional rules:
- Credits held by an account banned for a violation are forfeited, to the extent the law allows.
- Banned users may not create new accounts.
- We keep enforcement records and may share them with law enforcement when legally required.
- Appeals: if you think an action was a mistake, reply to the enforcement email or write to us through the contact page within 30 days. A member of our team who was not involved in the original decision will review it.
Reporting channels
If you see a TocToc AI video that breaks this policy, or a video that uses your face, your child's face or your work without permission, please tell us. You do not need an account.
- Report form: contact page, "Report content" topic
- Email: support@toctocai.org, subject "Report content"
Please include:
- a link to the video, or a screenshot and where you saw it;
- which rule you think it breaks; and
- for impersonation or copyright reports, how you are connected to the person or work.
We acknowledge every report within 48 hours. Child-safety reports and reports from people whose likeness was used without consent are reviewed first. We let you know the outcome when we can, without disclosing other users' private data.
Platform moderation
TocToc AI combines several layers of moderation:
- Upload checks – photos must be real JPG, PNG or WebP images within size and dimension limits, and users are told to upload one person or one pet they have permission to feature.
- Model safety filters – every upload and every generated video passes through the safety systems of our AI video providers, which reject sexual, violent, child-unsafe and copyright-flagged content. A blocked generation fails and its credits are returned automatically.
- No free-text prompts – every video follows one fixed, family-friendly choreography, so users cannot ask the model for arbitrary scenes.
- Human review – our team reviews every report and accounts with repeated blocked generations. Reviewers can view the uploaded photo and the generated video for this purpose only.
- Enforcement tools – we can remove individual videos, block generation, suspend or permanently ban accounts.
Automated systems can miss things or make mistakes, which is why user reports and appeals matter. We update this policy and our filters as new kinds of misuse appear.
Sharing responsibly
When you post a TocToc AI video, we encourage you to label it as AI-generated (for example with #AI or #tocTocAI), and to remove it if the person in it asks you to.
